I don't just tint / smoke lights.  I also have transparent vinyl film materials that can be used such as red, yellow, etc.  I believe the owner of this white Hyundai Genesis coupe was from around Riverside county and drove out to me in Orange County to get his tail lights tinted with my red clear film.  He wanted to get rid of the chrome area in the center of his tail lights and to make the tail lights look like they came from the factory a solid red.  The end results made a big difference in the appearance of the car.  It's probably the simplest and easiest solution that you can do to matching the red of the tail lights.
